Elwyn & Palmer is completing a software upgrade for the GIRAFFE computer program for the Los Angeles Department of Power. Our work will revamp, improve, and expand the capabilities of this analytical tool originally developed at Cornell. The software predicts water system breaks and behavior resulting from an earthquake and can be used for water system planning and seismic retrofit.
