We combine computerized structural analysis and modeling software with over 50 years of practical structural design and construction experience. Our design solutions are cost effective and constructable, and our design documents are thorough and complete.
We provide both structural engineering and geotechnical/foundation engineering on many of our building projects, greatly improving the turn-around time and the quality of the building foundation design.
In addition to providing full construction phase support on our design projects, we provide construction support services to owners, fabricators and contractors in areas such as construction shoring and bracing, support for excavations, steel fabrication drawing review and structural inspection.
We support owners, attorneys, and contractors in the investigation of building performance problems and the identification of building or structure deficiencies. Our findings are presented in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
Mike Palmer has over 25 years experience in the engineering and construction industry. He is highly experienced in structural and geotechnical engineering and has a background in civil engineering and heavy civil construction. He has completed projects in a wide range of fields including educational facilities, large-scale commercial facilities, foundation design for buildings and bridges, and seismic analyses of buildings, bridges, and dams.
Dr. Palmer’s professional experience includes 12 years with leading consulting engineering firms, experience in the heavy construction industry, and management of a large-scale earthquake engineering research program at Cornell University’s School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He has made numerous presentations to both clients and research groups and has authored well received papers and reports based on his earthquake engineering research.
He is an experienced structural and geotechnical engineer, having served as lead design engineer on public and private building projects, renovations projects in both steel and timber framed structures, and design of foundations for buildings and bridges. He has been responsible for geotechnical site characterization for dozens of construction projects. His clients have included school districts, universities, private developers, and local, state, and federal governments and agencies.
Joseph Caza III has over 17 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He is experienced in new and existing building design and engineering, including structural facility assessments, construction shoring design, cold formed steel design, structural and general building design, cost and project management, claims management and dispute resolution, contract administration and close-out.
Joseph Caza’s professional experience includes over 17 of combine experience work for a large Architectural and Engineering firm and as a consulting engineer during which he progressed from a design engineer to partner.
He is an experienced structural engineer, having served as lead design engineer on numerous public and private new construction and renovation projects, with particular expertise in steel and wood structural design, masonry design and restoration, and structural forensic investigation and analysis.
Mr. Caza’s project management experience includes serving as consulting engineer team leader providing engineering services to major architectural design firms and providing construction management services as agent of the Owner.
He is currently a licensed to practice in NY, PA, and IN.
